Juho Kantola capped the season with a battling double-finish, bringing the Rich Energy Ducati home in both races at Brands Hatch GP — the final round of the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship.
It was a proper test, and our team rider met it head-on. The finale drew one of the deepest Supersport grids of the year to the Kent circuit, and the whole paddock spent three days wrestling a wet, stop-start weekend of red flags and treacherous conditions. Juho kept his head and kept the bike upright, taking the flag in both the Sprint and the feature race on a weekend that caught out riders with far more experience.
That is the measure of the man. Last time out at Brands he didn't make the flag in the Sprint at all — this time he saw both races through to the end against the strongest field in domestic racing. Every lap banked in conditions like these is hard-won mileage that pays off down the line.
The black-and-gold Rich Energy Ducati heads into the winter with another demanding weekend in the bank and real momentum behind it. Juho has the pace and the fight, and we're right behind him for next season.
